The name “Jiahe” can be traced back to the *Jiahe* chapter of the *Book of Documents*. In ancient China, *jiahe* was regarded as an auspicious symbol. According to *Shuowen Jiezi*, “Jia” means beauty and excellence, while “He” is associated with harmony. Together with the qilin, sweet dew, and auspicious herbs, *jiahe* symbolized blessings from heaven, abundant harvests, national prosperity, social peace, longevity, and well-being.
